Who sells medicines
Only shops that Ghar Tak has checked as a licensed pharmacy or medical store can list medicines. In the app they carry a pharmacy badge.
Which medicines
- For now, Ghar Tak lists over-the-counter medicines and health products only, such as pain and fever relief, cough and cold, vitamins, first aid and devices.
- Prescription-only medicines and injections are not listed. We'll add them only when the app can take and check a prescription.
- Every medicine shows its strength, form and pack size, and you can search by brand or by generic name.
Using medicines safely
- Read the pack and leaflet, and follow the dose on it.
- Ghar Tak and the shops in the app don't give medical advice. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you're unsure, are pregnant, or are buying for a child.
- In an emergency, call 1122 or go to the nearest hospital. Don't wait for a delivery.
Checking what arrives
Check the name, strength and expiry date when your order arrives. If something is wrong, expired or damaged, don't use it: tell the shop in the order chat, or use "Report" on the order.
Reporting a problem
If a shop sells something it shouldn't, report it in the app or contact us. We can remove products or suspend a shop.
